THE EMMY'S FASHION ALERT 2012

Bonjour!. I know i'm a bit late but i just have to post about the 64th primetime Emmys 2012 Fashion. I enjoy these award shows yearly and can't wait to see which designer dresses the most celebs, which colour is most chosen, which stylist missed or made hits on red carpet, and of course to watch the actually show. The show definetly had shocking winners (like mad men not winning Best drama) as they had shocking dress choices. The stars definetly looked dazzling, but yes... I have one complain and it is the same complaint i had for every major award show this year. The stylists are not going all out. Their glamorous clients don't look revamped/revived. This is a new year, new season. Picking the same style/ colour to wear every year is quite boring and that is certainly not what fashion is about. Change is Great! Embrace it.
Fall Trends were definetly made and seen at the awards on Sunday. Noticeable Trends; greek goddess headbands, pastel colours , high slits, and the colours orange, sea blue and yellows

Fall trend #5 2012

Black and Blue 

The perfect combination in my opinion, its sad to believe that just a few years ago it was a "don't". I've found this to be a sophisticated look. I love how the designers mixed the black with rich 

blues and or navy blue. Sometimes a metallic blue was mixed in, quite inspiring and wearable. Street fashion approved. Designers Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Stella McCartney, Caroline Herrera and Preen all saw the beautiful in this combo.
